Maurice Evans started his art career early - at the age of fourteen he was hired as a freelance artist for a commercial art firm. Evans plays the guitar, and as a musician, began to recognize his niche in the combination of music, traditional painting techniques, fashion and ethnic culture. When he created his "Colour of Jazz" series it was overwhelmingly applauded and launched continued successes. His paintings are shown in many museums, galleries and private collections throughout the US. Evans is highly regarded as a specialist in African American art, with a focus on bold color, musical themes, and strong feelings displayed with exaggerated perspectives. Evans lives in the Atlanta Georgia area.

Peggy D. of Michigan says:
"Working with ArtPassions.com for more than seven years has proved to be a great business relationship. We have only experienced high quality product and exceptional customer service during this time. We often use their business for framing normal and “odd-shaped” documents and posters and purchasing prints from a variety of sources which are then framed by ArtPassions.com. On several occasions, they have gone above and beyond to help us when we were on a VERY tight deadline. They work on our timelines and strive to meet and exceed our satisfaction. We have been very pleased with this relationship."
