Fireside Phonograph by April S. White

The hi-fi has come a long way and shows its roots in "Fireside Phonograph", by April S. White. The rich plumage of the vintage gramophone is detailed in metallic gray. Spider-like outlines of yellow curve downward to the copper and black of this old Victrola record player. The color photography takes us back to vinyl records before we had stereo and high-fidelity sound systems and record albums that are now called CDs. Music has changed its delivery system, but not its message to our hearts.
