Artist Steven Meyers combines his work as a radiology technologist with his love for floral photography by using x-ray images in his work; the results are still-life compositions that depict a depth of color not typical to traditional photography. In "Plumeria," a full-color print, a muted yellow background acts as a backdrop for three flowers - one blue, one green, and one yellow. The type of photography used by Meyers gives the work an almost mosaic feel - as if the flowers were pressed into stained glass. If you love floral photography you will find this work to be truly special.
