Giving up a promising career in rock bands, Dennis Loren went on to become the artist who promotes them. "Cream, 1967", is typical of his posterization style. Spectrums of vertical stripes fill the background with gradients of fluorescent colors - with ultra high-contrast portraits superimposed. Throughout the 70's and 80's Loren did hundreds of flyers, posters, record covers - mostly using this "Cream, 1967" formula. Though not easy to read, his posters became so desirable to Pop Art collectors they were taken down and sold as art as soon as they were put up. Put one up in your space soon.
