Erin Lange's contemporary floral prints are always compelling, as can clearly be seen in the "In Harmony" series. "In Harmony I" is a stunning confection of coal-black tulips set against a silvery-white background. The opacity of the blooms concentrates the eye on the wonderful shape they make against the background. "In Harmony II" Lange has used the same technique to portray arum lilies. The technique has the effect of turning these sometimes funereal flowers into simple, impactful shapes. Both the "In Harmony" prints are enhanced with metallic inks, which add to their ethereal beauty. This is powerfully different floral art!
