Orange, blue and black dominate the color scheme of this sunset photograph of the "Manhattan Skyline" from the lens of Richard Berenholtz. New York City's most famous buildings, including the still standing Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, all reflect the bright orange light of the setting sun. Above them, trails of clouds pick up the same light and cast their tops in purple shadow against the still blue sky. The Brooklyn Bridge stretches over the blue East River and from bright sunlight on the Manhattan side to deep red and black shadows on the Queens side. A city known the world over still basks in a form of innocence as the sun bids it good evening and reveals itself again as a thing of beauty.
